Today, Ashgabat became a bright stage for the opening of the II International Theater Festival, bringing together creative figures from the member countries of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY). This event is not just a celebration of art, but a solemn dedication to the ancient Turkmen city of Anau, which this year became the cultural capital of the Turkic world, as well as to the 300th anniversary of the great poet Magtymguly Fragi.

On October 17, a literary and musical evening dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi took place in the assembly hall of the Caspian Institute of Marine and Transport named after Admiral General F.M. Apraksin with the support of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in Russian Federation (Astrakhan).

On October 17, 2024, a seminar dedicated to the International Day of the Intangible Cultural Heritage was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event was organized by the UNESCO club “Culture of Peace”.
