Civil servants from Turkmenistan participate in the KazAID training program ''Dostyk – Digitalization"
The Kazakh Agency for International Development "KazAID" of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, organized the Dostyk Digitalization program for the development of digital skills for civil servants from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
From April 1-5, 2024, 20 civil servants at the Academy of Public Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Nazarbayev University will participate in training, which includes courses in English on digital governance and e- government, expert meetings and a cultural program. The course participants will get acquainted with the possibilities of digital transformation of public administration and share their experience with colleagues from Kazakhstan and Singapore.
Professor of Nazarbayev University Aziz Burkhanov, Professor of the Singapore College of Public Administration Wu Kun Tian and representatives of National Information Technologies JSC were invited as speakers.
Mid- and senior-level civil servants who are actively involved in digital transformation and in the development of national policies in their countries in this area have been selected to participate in the program.
Training under the program is provided to participants free of charge thanks to a grant from the Kazakhstan Agency for International Development "KazAID".
A presentation of the work of the Digital Government Support Center was held for the participants of the program. Speakers from the Center spoke about the key areas of its activities, including ensuring the effective work of government agencies and coordinating business processes, preparing high-quality management solutions, monitoring and project management, and the formation and development of the architecture of "electronic government".
