Speaker of the Parliament of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova received new Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia, Momchilo Babich, who, along with his credentials, conveyed greetings to the head of state from Aleksandar Vucic.

On behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Chairman of the Mejlis congratulated the diplomat on his appointment and wished him success in this post, informed him about the modern transformations in Turkmenistan and major international projects with his participation. Gulmanova also briefed the Serbian ambassador on the legislative activities of the parliament.

Babich expressed gratitude for the warm welcome on Turkmen land and emphasized the potential of interstate trade and economic relations, as well as the prospects for the development of ties in the scientific and educational sphere, in the field of sports and tourism, also speaking in favor of intensifying cultural contacts.
