As to his sports career, Annagurbanov told that, he had started playing sports at the age of eight. On the advice of his father, he chose two spiritually close sports – combat sambo and ju-jutsu.
This silver medal is the second that Turkmen wrestler earned at the world championships. In 2016, Charymyrat won the first silver at the VII Combat Ju-Jutsu World Championship in Croatia.
However, the 25-year-old wrestler has further plans. He dreams of successfully performing at the world biggest competitions, where he would run by the admiring stands, holding the Turkmen flag in his hands, as it was at the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, where he won the gold medal in combat sambo.
