Samsung Electronics once again secured its leading position in the global television market in the third quarter of 2025. According to a report by the research firm Omdia, the company maintained the top spot in both shipment volume and revenue share, reaching 29.0% and exceeding last year’s result of 28.6%. Analysts note that Samsung is on track to remain the industry leader for the twentieth consecutive year.
LG Electronics retained second place, although its share of total revenue declined to 15.2% from 16.5% a year earlier. Chinese manufacturers TCL and Hisense followed in third and fourth positions, respectively, significantly expanding their market presence with revenue shares of 13.0% and 10.9%.
Despite a slowdown in global demand for televisions, the premium segment remains a stronghold for the two Korean brands. In the category of TVs priced above $2,500, Samsung generated 53.1% of global revenue. The company also continues to dominate the large-screen segment: among televisions with screen sizes of 75 inches and above, Samsung’s market share reached 29.1%.
