Oriented on making people closer

During the Central Asia-China video summit, the Turkmen leader outlined a number of areas for mutually beneficial cooperation. Among them is transport interaction, which is due to specific reasons and objective interests.

Last week, sixteen tenders were announced in Turkmenistan from the Ministry of Industry, SC "Turkmenhimiya", SC "Turkmennebit", Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, CNPC and Coca-Cola Companies, as well as "Hazar” Consortium.

Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov discussed on Monday with his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar the preparations for the first Central Asia-India Summit, which will be held on January 27 via videoconference.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov criticized the work of the heads of regional administrations for the low pace of agricultural campaigns, and also expressed dissatisfaction with the level of road transport construction on the ground.

At the Turkmenbashi oil processing complex are planned to introduce a fully automated digital database. The corresponding international tender was published today in the official press. The contractor who won the tender will have to develop a tender proposal for the design and implementation of a full range of works to create and introduce a new digital system into the work of the Turkmenbashi oil processing complex.

Preparations for the China-Central Asia summit and the opening of the XXIV Winter Olympic Games in Beijing were discussed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Ambassador of China Qian Naicheng.
