The State Concern "Turkmenneft" will sign a contract with the International Oil Service Company under the China Petrochemical Corporation to carry out work to increase the productivity of wells of the state concern.

The Main Drama Theater of Turkmenistan has been given the status of an academic one. A resolution to this effect was signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a government meeting on Friday. The draft document was presented by Deputy Prime Minister for Culture Myahridjemal Mammedova.

The United Nations and its Environment Programme (UNEP) are ready to assist Turkmenistan in the development of "green" technologies and provide access to all scientific data relevant in the current period of the global energy transition.

The country presented such ambitious goals in the program to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in key sectors of the national economy, which will be implemented under the Paris Climate Agreement. The document was submitted to the UNFCCC Secretariat in May this year.
