Red Magic Releases a Unique Rugged Power Bank
Red Magic has unveiled an innovative magnetic portable battery called Dao Energy Card Pro in China. The key feature of the new device is a special physical button that completely disconnects the battery cells from the electrical circuit. This function acts as an emergency shut-off switch, instantly preventing the risk of short circuits and overheating.
This engineering solution was introduced in response to new strict state safety standards adopted in China. The country recently implemented mandatory national regulations for portable batteries, developed with the participation of experts from 30 leading IT giants, including Huawei, Xiaomi, and Anker. The new rules significantly tighten requirements for thermal resistance and mechanical durability of gadgets.
In addition to enhanced safety, the power bank features a premium design. Its aviation-grade metal frame is equipped with a large color LCD display. Instead of traditional LED indicators, the screen provides users with complete real-time information about the device’s status. Owners can easily monitor exact voltage, current, battery temperature, and even the number of charging cycles.
The device supports 45W fast wired charging and 25W wireless charging. The manufacturer will announce the release date for international markets and the retail price at a later time.
