Turkmengeology to Upgrade Its Technical Facilities for Searching for New Oil and Gas Deposits
The Turkmengeology State Corporation is upgrading its facilities to improve the efficiency of exploration operations.
Currently, the state corporation's oil and gas exploration expeditions are actively drilling exploratory wells in a number of promising areas and fields in the western region of Turkmenistan. The project to upgrade specialized oil and gas sector enterprises, presented by Deputy Prime Minister Guvanch Agajanov, was approved by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting on Friday, May 15.
The head of state emphasized the importance of using modern technologies to discover new hydrocarbon reserves and addressed specific instructions to industry leaders on strengthening their technical potential, including through fruitful cooperation with specialized foreign companies.
