The first semi-final of the international song contest Eurovision Song Contest 2026 has concluded in Vienna. As a result, the first ten countries that will continue competing in the grand final have been announced. This year, the contest is being held in the Austrian capital at the Wiener Stadthalle arena, while the final is scheduled for May 16.

Fifteen participants competed for places in the final during the first semi-final. Greece, Finland, Belgium, Sweden, Moldova, Israel, Serbia, Croatia, Lithuania, and Poland advanced to the decisive stage of the competition.

As a result, Estonia, Georgia, Montenegro, Portugal, and San Marino were eliminated from Eurovision Song Contest 2026 after the first semi-final.

Traditionally, the names of the finalists were announced in random order — this does not reflect the participants’ actual ranking in the semi-final. Detailed voting results are usually published only after the contest ends so as not to influence the audience’s perception of the final.

The second semi-final will take place on May 14, after which the full lineup for the grand final will be known, including whether Latvia advances. The grand final of Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will be held on Saturday, May 16.
