The new bulk carrier "Gadamly," built at the Balkan shipyard, celebrated its maiden international voyage in the Caspian Sea. The vessel loaded over 6,000 tons of industrial goods at the container terminal of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport.

Representatives of the maritime department, crew members, and the Korean partners involved in the ship's construction took part in the large-scale ceremonies on shore. They also boarded the vessel to inspect its readiness before departure.

Following the ceremonial raising of the national flag and the captain's report of readiness, the crew took up their posts. With the first blast of the whistle, the vessel cast off and, with the main engines firing, began its journey, writing a new chapter in the history of Turkmenistan's maritime history.

The Gadamly's international voyage was secured with full permitting documentation and internationally recognized certificates. This event not only confirms Turkmenistan's strengthened status as a transit corridor in the Caspian Sea but also demonstrates to the world that the country is developing into a nation with its own shipbuilding industry, port facilities of which, including the container terminal in Turkmenbashi, operate smoothly and employ the most advanced technologies.
