Personnel changes have occurred in Turkmenistan's media landscape. Decrees signed by the President of Turkmenistan affected the management of one of the state television and radio channels, "Ýaşlyk."

According to the adopted documents, Yakupgeldi Kasymov has been relieved of his post as director of the "Ýaşlyk" television and radio channel of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting, and Cinematography.

By another decree, the head of state appointed Guvanch Nazarov as the new director of the "Ýaşlyk" television and radio channel.

The "Ýaşlyk" (meaning "Youth") television and radio channel occupies a special niche in the state broadcasting system, focusing on youth audiences and educating the younger generation. A change in leadership in this important area is seen as a signal for potential qualitative changes in programming policy and the search for new formats for state media to engage with young people.
