Creativity, quality, and cost-effectiveness attract buyers from around the world

As reported by CCTV+, the 139th Canton Fair concluded on Tuesday in Guangzhou. Running from April 15 to May 5, it proved fruitful for both Chinese exhibitors and overseas buyers. Covering 1.55 million square meters, the fair featured 75,700 booths and more than 32,000 enterprises.

Chinese exhibitors focused on creativity. Yu Ji from Hangzhou Zhu Bingren Copper Art said they added cultural heritage elements to jewelry tailored to Western tastes. "The response exceeded our expectations. This fair has given us confidence," he noted.

Overseas buyers spoke highly of Chinese products. American Ryan Curtis admitted: "The quality is much better than I expected. I really like it." Spanish buyer Claudia González highlighted: "We like Chinese products because they offer a good balance between price and quality." British buyer Sunny Panesar said he is working on several deals. His compatriot Craig Brummell called the fair an indispensable global platform for finding ideas.

Chinese companies noted an influx of new clients. Liu Zhongqi from Fujian Homestar Furniture Corporation highlighted interest from emerging markets and cross-border e-commerce. Zhou Dandan from Shandong Province reported that about 200 buyers approached her company, with two-thirds leaving contacts and expressing purchase intentions.

Founded in 1957, the Canton Fair is held twice a year and is considered a barometer of China's foreign trade.
