A Delegation from Turkmenistan Will Participate in the "Russia – Islamic World" Forum in Kazan
From May 12 to 17, Kazan (Republic of Tatarstan) will host the annual International Economic Forum "Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum." A representative delegation from our country, led by National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, will participate.
The program promises to be extensive and will cover a wide range of cooperation areas, beginning with the business agenda. Representatives will participate in the large-scale "Cooperation between Russia and the Islamic World EXPO" exhibition and a thematic forum on the international real estate market.
The trade aspect of cooperation will be complemented by the "Kazan Halal Market" fair and the "Modest Fashion Day" festival, which will showcase national traditions and modern trends.
A special event and a true premiere will be the international horse races and jockey championship, which will be held for the first time in the forum's history on May 16 at the Kazan Hippodrome, featuring Turkmen athletes.
At a government meeting on Friday, May 1, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed that the participation of the country's representatives in these events be organized at the highest level, noting the importance of the Kazan venue for strengthening multilateral ties.
