Turkmenistan Communications Minister Khadzhimyrat Khudaygulyev's speech at the Turkmenistan-China Business Forum in Ashgabat was one of the key messages presented during the business program. The minister presented an ambitious development model in which technologies—from artificial intelligence to quantum computing—are not just tools, but the foundation of a new economic reality.

For the Ministry of Communications, AI is now a critical infrastructure area. The minister emphasized that the implementation of neural network-based solutions allows the ministry to reach a qualitatively new level of management. This involves in-depth data analysis in real time: from optimizing network loads to intelligently systematizing citizen requests. This approach changes the very paradigm of citizen-state interaction, making services as personalized and accessible as possible.

The ministry's strategy encompasses the entire spectrum of breakthrough technologies that determine the country's long-term competitiveness.

Quantum Technologies: Turkmenistan's strategic goal is to implement ultra-high computing power to solve the most complex problems of the future.

Internet of Things (IoT): Large-scale implementation of "smart city," "smart industry," and "smart life" concepts, where the interconnectedness of devices directly improves quality of life and energy efficiency.

Big Data: Development of modern data storage and analysis systems as the basis for accurate economic forecasting and strengthening national security.

Cloud Platforms: Active implementation of high-speed interfaces for reliable interaction between government, business, and society.

The report placed particular emphasis on partnership with China. The combination of China's vast innovative experience and Turkmenistan's clear strategic goals paves the way for the creation of joint research centers in AI and neural network technologies.

"Cooperation, trust, and development—this is not just a slogan, but our action plan," concluded Khadzhimyrat Khudaygulyev, emphasizing that data today represents new energy, and bold technological solutions guarantee sustainable growth.

Concluding his speech, the minister invited international partners to continue the dialogue on the sidelines of the region's largest technology exhibition, the "Türkmentel – 2026" exhibition, which will be held in Ashgabat in November.

The Turkmenistan-China Business Forum and accompanying exhibition are being held in Ashgabat from April 28 to 30 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This large-scale event brought together representatives of over 200 Chinese public and private businesses, including such giants as CNPC, Sany Heavy Industry, Sinotruk, and Nuctech. Discussions focused on strategic partnerships in the fuel and energy sector, transport logistics, agriculture, and digitalization. The forum serves as an important platform for synchronizing the "Revival of the Great Silk Road" strategy and the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, cementing Turkmenistan's role as a key logistics hub in Eurasia.
