Seydi Refinery Prepares for Major Production Modernization
The State Concern "Turkmenneft" is embarking on a new phase of modernization at the Seydi Oil Refinery (SOR). During a Cabinet of Ministers meeting held on April 24, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved proposals for the technological re-equipment of the facility.
The key objective of this modernization is the implementation of deep oil refining technologies. This will enable the refinery not only to expand its production capacity but also to significantly enhance the quality characteristics of its refined petroleum products.
The project entails equipping the plant's workshops with state-of-the-art machinery, automating and optimizing production processes, and improving both environmental safety and raw material processing efficiency.
The Head of State emphasized the strategic importance of developing the oil and gas industry to modern standards and instructed Deputy Prime Minister Guvanch Agajanov to ensure the high-quality execution of the planned work. The modernization of the Seydi Oil Refinery will mark a significant step in strengthening the export potential of the country's energy sector.
