Yagshimuradov defeats Pedro at PFL Tournament in Belfast

Turkmen fighter Dovletjan Yagshimuradov defeated Australia’s Tyson Pedro at a Professional Fighters League (PFL) tournament held in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
This fight marked an important step for the Turkmen athlete following his previous appearance in October 2025 at the PFL Road to Dubai event, where he lost to American Corey Anderson by unanimous decision.
In a post-fight interview, Yagshimuradov commented on his bout with Tyson Pedro, noting the high level of his opponent. According to him, the Australian fighter proved to be a strong competitor.
When asked about his next fight and a potential opponent, Yagshimuradov said there is currently no specific information, but he is ready to step into the octagon at any time against any opponent.
“Fighting is my life,” the fighter emphasized.
At the end of the interview, he thanked everyone for their support and also expressed gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan. Yagshimuradov’s record currently stands at 26 wins, eight losses, and one draw.
For Pedro, the bout in Belfast was his first since March 2024, when he lost to Brazil’s Vitor Petrino at UFC Fight Night 238, also by decision. His record stands at 10 wins and six losses.
The victory in Belfast strengthened Yagshimuradov’s position within the PFL tournaments and marked a significant achievement for the Turkmen fighter on the international stage.
