French Institute in Ashgabat invites to an evening of Armenian cinema

As part of the Francophonie Month program, the French Institute in Turkmenistan, together with the Embassy of Armenia, invites residents and guests of the capital to a screening of the 1969 classic film “We and Our Mountains.” The screening will take place today, April 3, at 18:30.
The film, directed by Genrikh Malyan and written by Hrant Matevosyan, features an outstanding cast including Sos Sargsyan, Frunzik Mkrtchyan, Horen Abrahamyan, and others. At the center of the story is an ironic and profound tale about four shepherds who find themselves under investigation due to two lost sheep.
The film will be shown in its original language (Armenian) with French subtitles. Admission is free.
