A contest for women in communication and aviation held in Turkmenistan to mark Nowruz
In honor of the National Spring Holiday, Turkmenistan hosted a competition titled "Hünärim bar – hormatym bar" (My Profession is My Honor) among women working in the communication and aviation sectors.
The event was organized by the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan in cooperation with the Ministry of Communication of Turkmenistan and the "Türkmenhowaýollary" (Turkmenistan Airlines) State Service.
As part of the competition, participants presented themselves, their professions, and their daily activities through creative performances, including poetry recitations, stage plays, and songs. The program was dedicated to the motto of 2026.
The contestants also competed in decorating festive tables with national dishes and showcased modern interpretations of national costumes adorned with traditional ornaments and accessories.
The competition was held in two stages. In the first stage, participants competed within their respective institutions and enterprises. Six winners advanced to the second stage to represent their organizations at the final level.
The winners were awarded certificates of honor and valuable gifts. All other participants also received commemorative awards from the organizers.
