Turkmenistan Participated in Novruz Celebrations in Tbilisi
A vibrant celebration of International Novruz Day unfolded in the historic center of the Georgian capital, among the iconic landmarks of Abanotubani. With the support of the Tbilisi City Hall, the cultural diversity of the East brought together the embassies of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Turkey, as well as local diasporas.
The Turkmen exhibit offered a window into the world of unique traditions. Guests were able to experience the art of carpet weaving and appreciate the elegance of national jewelry and folk costumes. Books by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, were on display, along with paintings, souvenirs, national dishes, and sweets.
Particularly noteworthy was the stand dedicated to the 2026 motto: "Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses," which has become a symbol of rapid development and loyalty to roots. The festival, a living embodiment of intercultural dialogue, concluded with a vibrant concert, where Turkmen melodies seamlessly wove into the ancient city's springtime atmosphere.
Novruz once again proved that cultural exchange is the most reliable foundation for the unity of nations, linking the past and the future with an inseparable thread of humanism.
