Heavy rains are expected today in certain regions of Turkmenistan

On March 17, precipitation, in some areas heavy, is forecasted across Turkmenistan. The most intense rains are expected in the southern part of Balkan province and in the western areas of Ahal province, including the mountainous and foothill regions of the Western Kopetdag.
According to meteorologists, some regions may receive 15–30 mm of rainfall within 12 hours, which corresponds to heavy rain.
Residents of the mentioned regions are advised to take the weather conditions into account when planning trips and to follow safety precautions.
