Despite the sharp deterioration of the regional situation, logistics channels between Turkmenistan and Iran continue to function without interruption. Both diplomatic circles and national agencies confirm the stability of key land arteries.

At a briefing in Ashgabat, the Iranian ambassador stated that the governments of the two countries are making coordinated efforts to ensure the smooth operation of the 1,200-kilometer border. Despite the external turbulence, all border crossings remain open, and cargo transiting Central Asia is moving as usual. The diplomat emphasized that these crossings are of strategic importance not only for the region but for the entire global transit system.

These data are fully confirmed by the operational report of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan. According to the agency's official statement, the Serakhs, Artyk, Khovdan, and Altyn Asyr customs checkpoints are operating normally, processing vehicles and goods at their design capacity.

Measures have been taken at these checkpoints to prevent queues and expedite inspections, ensuring the timely delivery of both export and import cargo, as well as transit cargo. The bulk of goods bound for Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan pass through these gates.

The agency notes that creating favorable conditions for carriers allows for an annual increase in transit volumes. Stable border operations, despite the ongoing crisis, are becoming a key indicator of the Caspian region's reliability as a "safe enclave" for international trade.
