A two-day international seminar on labor migration, organized as part of the Prague Process, was held in Brussels. The event brought together representatives of relevant government agencies, international organizations, and European Union institutions, including the European Commission and the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD). The main goal of the meeting was to discuss current trends and practical tools for managing labor and legal migration, as well as to exchange experiences between participating countries.

Representatives of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan participated in the seminar. During thematic sessions and roundtable discussions, the Turkmen side presented its national experience in regulating migration processes, focusing on the implementation of innovative approaches and the development of digital solutions in the migration administration system.

Participants were briefed on the ongoing modernization of Turkmenistan's migration infrastructure, including the development of electronic services, improved interagency cooperation, and more efficient data exchange between government agencies. These measures are aimed at ensuring procedural transparency, enhancing the quality of public services, and strengthening the governance of migration processes.

It was emphasized that the national system is characterized by a high degree of internal coordination, and the prompt exchange of information between relevant agencies facilitates an effective response to contemporary migration challenges.

The seminar also provided a platform for professional dialogue on the development of legal channels for labor mobility, the development of international cooperation, and the improvement of qualification recognition mechanisms. Participants discussed possible areas for further collaboration and exchanged best practices in migration management.

Turkmenistan advocates for the active development of partnerships with European countries and international organizations, which facilitates the implementation of best international practices and the further improvement of national migration policy.
