New horizons of cooperation

Particular attention during the meetings was paid to practical cooperation. Professor Nitasha Kaul proposed organizing joint online classes on the topics of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This would allow students to exchange experience and learn modern teaching methods.

In turn, Professor Karen Jackson invited IUHD students to take part in short-term study visits to London. The program of such visits may include tours of several prominent organizations:

• the International Maritime Organization (IMO) of the United Nations;

• the financial company Bloomberg;

• the editorial office of the leading business newspaper Financial Times.

Support for master’s students and digital learning

For IUHD master’s students studying Business Administration, the British side proposed courses on international trade, management, and accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO).

The development of such cooperation opens new opportunities for Turkmen youth to receive world-class education and gain experience from leading experts in the United Kingdom. The visit concluded with an agreement to prepare official documents through diplomatic channels to formalize long-term partnership.
