In Turkmenistan, the demand for digital services that help save time and solve everyday tasks online is steadily growing. One such solution is the Çapar Pay mobile application developed by the company Turkmenpost.

The application is available for Android and iOS devices and can be downloaded for free from Google Play and the App Store. Today, Çapar Pay brings together a wide range of popular services — from utility payments to ticket purchases and mobile service management.

What features are available to users

The application’s functionality covers the main daily payments and services. Through Çapar Pay, users can:

• pay for electricity, water, gas, and other utility services;

• check and pay traffic violation fines;

• pay for landline telephone services across all regions of the country;

• top up mobile balances and pay for internet and television services, including those of the Altyn Asyr operator and the Älem TV service;

• purchase airline and railway tickets;

• subscribe to the Belet online cinema service;

• send the operator’s USSD requests directly from the application (balance check, account top-up, and other functions);

• track postal shipments using a tracking number;

• order courier delivery services.

Payments are made using bank cards valid within Turkmenistan. For user convenience, payment data can be stored in a secure format, which simplifies repeat payments. The application uses modern information security technologies.

The service is regularly updated and continues to expand its list of available features. In recent years, new payment tools have been added, the geography of landline telephone services has been expanded, integration with USSD codes has been implemented, and shipment tracking capabilities have been improved.
