Amid temporary airspace restrictions in the region, Turkmenistan is confirming its status as a reliable and predictable partner by opening its land borders to the transit of citizens of neighboring countries. Like Russian diplomats, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan presented an algorithm for repatriating its citizens across the Iranian-Turkmen border.

The Serakhs checkpoint has been designated the main logistics hub for the crossing. Diplomatic missions from various countries are setting up mobile aid stations there. In particular, the Uzbek Embassy in Ashgabat has already sent vehicles to the border to organize the transportation of its citizens through Turkmenistan, Dunyo news agency reports.

Close coordination between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and foreign diplomatic missions ensures unimpeded and safe road travel while direct flights are temporarily suspended. The Russian Embassy in Ashgabat also confirmed that the route through Serakhs is the primary viable option for those planning to return from Iran by land.

Turkmenistan, with its well-developed road infrastructure and stable situation, is once again assuming the role of regional stabilizer. Ashgabat's willingness to promptly provide transit corridors underscores the country's constructive approach to security and humanitarian cooperation in Central Asia.
