The Ural Music Night 2026 festival has opened applications for artists from around the world
Russia’s largest multi-format music festival — Ural Music Night — has announced a global open call for artists and dancers. In June 2026, Yekaterinburg will once again turn into a giant concert venue, bringing together hundreds of talents from different countries.
Ural Music Night is a unique opportunity for emerging and professional performers to appear before a massive audience. Last year the festival attracted 450,000 spectators, while its trilingual online broadcast was watched by more than 7 million viewers. In 2026, more than 100 venues are planned, ranging from cozy bars and theaters to city parks and public squares.
Participation gives artists not only a stage but also direct access to industry leaders. Applications are reviewed by more than 130 music-market experts, allowing talents to receive professional evaluation and a chance to be noticed by producers even outside the main selection.
This year the organizers expanded genre diversity by highliting the popular “indie direction” into a separate category at participants’ request. Over the project’s 11-year history, emerging artists have gained invaluable experience and recognition, sharing the stage with stars such as Feduk, Therr Maitz, Klava Koka and other chart leaders.
How to participate?
Applications from musicians of all genres and dance groups are accepted until March 11, 2026. Registration is open on the festival’s official website. The project is supported by state foundations and the city administration, confirming its status as one of the region’s major cultural events. On this night, music will sound throughout the city, erasing boundaries between countries and styles.
