Azerbaijani ferry makes its first voyage to Turkmenistan

The major overhaul of the Barda (Bərdə) ferry, owned by the Transport Fleet of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO), has been completed.
After the completion of repairs, the vessel successfully passed all required inspections, was returned to cargo operations, and during its first voyage delivered 32 railway wagons and 12 trailers to the port of Turkmenbashi in Turkmenistan.
It should be noted that the Barda ferry is one of the largest ferries in the Caspian Sea. The vessel is 154.5 meters long, 17 meters wide, and has a speed of 12.5 knots.
