AMD CEO Lisa Su has outlined ambitious plans for the company’s future development. In the coming years, the artificial intelligence (AI) segment is expected to generate tens of billions of dollars in revenue. This growth is driven by active cooperation with OpenAI, with large-scale deliveries for the company set to begin in the second half of this year.

Currently, 8 out of the world’s top 10 AI companies are using solutions from the Instinct family. In the last quarter, EPYC processors also delivered record-breaking results, strengthening AMD’s position in the cloud and enterprise sectors. Next-generation Instinct MI455 accelerators will be supplied mainly as part of complete server systems.

Despite its success, the company remains cautious in its outlook for the Chinese market. Due to an unstable trade environment, AMD does not include potential accelerator sales in China in its future forecasts, even though they generated more than $300 million in revenue in the previous quarter.

Over the next five years, AMD’s leadership aims to increase total revenue by more than 35% annually. To avoid product shortages, the company is already ramping up production volumes together with its partners. For the market, this is a clear signal that AMD is ready to compete with industry leaders in the era of neural networks.
