Ashgabat | ORIENT. Turkmenistan's agro-industrial sector continues to diversify its sources of high-quality feed. The first batch of 213 tons of pelleted rapeseed meal was shipped from Bashkortostan (Russia) and is already en route to Turkmenistan by rail.

Rapeseed meal is a high-protein supplement important for increasing productivity in poultry and livestock farming. The choice of a Bashkir supplier was based on strict adherence to international safety standards.

Before shipment, the entire batch underwent thorough inspection by Rosselkhoznadzor. Laboratory tests confirmed the absence of pathogens and full compliance with Turkmenistan's import requirements. Successful certification, completed in January, opened a "green corridor" for these products to enter the Turkmen market.

This shipment is part of the strategy to strengthen the country's food abundance, which was discussed at a recent government working meeting on agricultural development.
