President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent his deepest condolences to King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand and President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto following the floods caused by heavy rains in these countries, which resulted in numerous casualties, injuries, and widespread destruction.

The head of state expressed sincere sympathy and support to the families and friends of those killed in this difficult time, as well as wishes for a speedy recovery for all those affected.

In late November 2025, Thailand and Indonesia experienced some of the worst floods in recent years, caused by prolonged torrential rains. In Thailand, the disaster affected the country's southern provinces. The floods resulted in dozens of casualties, the displacement of tens of thousands of residents, and the paralysis of transportation infrastructure. In Indonesia, in the province of Sumatra, torrential rains triggered severe flash floods and landslides, killing people and destroying bridges and hundreds of homes. Local authorities actively launched search, rescue, and relief operations, setting up temporary accommodation centers for the victims.
