At the beginning of November, several regions of Turkmenistan experienced rainfall, mostly light. In the upper zones of the Central Kopetdag and in the Koytendag mountains, snow fell, forming the first snow cover of the season.

In the highest areas of the Central Kopetdag, snow settled, while in the Koytendag mountains the snow cover spread over a significant area. By November 6, the snow-covered area reached approximately 260 square kilometers.

It is worth noting that the Central Kopetdag and Koytendag are the highest mountain ranges in Turkmenistan. The highest point of the Turkmen part of the Kopetdag is Mount Shah-Shah (2912 meters), and in the Koytendag — Mount Ayry-Baba (3139 meters).
