Xiaomi Has Released the Super Slim Magnetic Power Bank: The Thinnest Smartphone Battery
Xiaomi has introduced a new external battery to the international market — the Super Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5000. Its main highlights are the ultra-thin body and strong magnetic attachment. The device supports both wired (up to 22 W) and wireless (up to 15 W) charging, making it an ideal accessory for modern smartphones.
The power bank uses a 5000 mAh lithium cobalt oxide battery and stands out for its compact size:
• Dimensions: 10.2 × 7 × 0.9 cm.
• Weight: Only 122 grams.
With these parameters, it barely adds weight or thickness to the phone. The reliability of wireless charging is ensured by a magnetic pad equipped with 17 neodymium magnets. Xiaomi claims that the magnetic attachment force is five times greater than the weight of a standard iPhone 16.
Super Slim Magnetic Power Bank can charge two devices at the same time:
• Wireless charging: up to 15 W
• Wired charging (via USB-C): up to 22 W
For safety, the power bank includes two NTC temperature sensors that monitor heating and prevent overloads. The manufacturer guarantees that up to 80% of the original battery capacity remains after 300 charge cycles.
The price of the new device on the international market is €22 (around 2,000 rubles). For now, only the black version is available.
