Turkmen people under the focus of Chinese photographers
Unique photographs, featuring the people of Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Iran, were published in China's leading newspaper China Daily. The photo essay on Central Asian countries, authored by Ji Longsheng, a council member of the China Photographers Association and vice-president of the Jiangsu Photographers Association, was prepared by him during a photography tour in June to the countries along the route of the great Silk Road. The organizer of the tour was the China Art Photography Society in order to enhance cultural exchange between these countries and China within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. Photographers from China told in their pics about the daily lives of people on the busy trade corridors of our time, about how they work, learn and spend their leisure time.
