The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Minsk Hosted a Meeting with Turkmen Students from the Philology Department of BSU

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus held a meaningful meeting with compatriot students pursuing a prestigious education at the Philology Department of Belarusian State University (BSU). The event was held in honor of the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Nazarguly Shagulyev personally welcomed the future philology specialists. The diplomat noted that neutrality has become the cornerstone of national identity, as well as an effective tool for developing regional dialogue and strengthening stability. He emphasized that Turkmenistan's initiatives in science, education, and cultural and humanitarian cooperation, based on trust and mutually beneficial partnership, directly align with the goals of the Year of Peace and Trust.

To enable the students, whose profession is inextricably linked to the nation's cultural heritage, to gain a fresh perspective on the richness of their national heritage, a special program was organized. A thematic photo exhibition was held in the Embassy's winter garden, featuring both ancient historical monuments and majestic architecture symbolizing the country's modern development.

A video was shown vividly demonstrating the power of modern Turkmenistan, which sacredly honors its traditions and confidently builds its future. These striking images evoked a lively response and a sense of pride among young Turkmen citizens.

Ambassador Shagulyev held a mentoring session with the students, touching on patriotism, the personal and professional development of young people, and the development of civic responsibility as a key factor in preparing qualified specialists capable of making a worthy contribution to progress and strengthening Turkmenistan's international standing.
