Turkmenistan’s Export of Chemical and Textile Products Exceeds $7.8 Million

Business representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan purchased liquefied gas and urea, produced at the technological facilities of the State Concern “Türkmenhimiýa,” using foreign currency.
In addition, cotton yarn, flannel fabric, licorice root extract, and purified cotton spinning waste were also sold for foreign currency.
The purchasing countries include Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Serbia. The total value of the export transactions exceeded $7.862 million.
Founded in 1994, the State Commission for Foreign Trade of Turkmenistan (GTSBT) is the main body regulating export-import operations in the country.
