Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan have jointly launched a test route connecting China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Azerbaijan (Baku) to strengthen transport cooperation and expand international logistics links.

The project is being implemented through the collaboration of the Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan (TULM), O’ztemiryo’lkonteyner JSC (Uzbekistan), and Alliance Multimodal (Azerbaijan).

As part of the pilot phase, four 40-foot containers were dispatched from China toward Azerbaijan. The containers have currently arrived at the Osh station in Kyrgyzstan, where documentation is being processed and preparations are underway for their onward journey by rail through Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and across the Caspian Sea to Azerbaijan.

According to the agreements reached, the total transit time from Osh station to Baku is estimated at 12 calendar days.
