China Reaffirms Commitment to Strengthening Partnership with Turkmenistan


President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping and Premier of the State Council Li Qiang sent letters of gratitude to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov in response to his congratulatory message on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
In his message, Xi Jinping noted that two meetings had taken place with the President of Turkmenistan since the beginning of the year, during which important agreements were reached to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Turkmenistan. He emphasized that these agreements have given a strong impetus to the multifaceted, mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
The Chinese President expressed his readiness to work together with the President of Turkmenistan to build a closer China–Turkmenistan Community of Shared Future for the benefit of the peoples of both nations. He wished Serdar Berdimuhamedov good health and success, and wished Turkmenistan prosperity, development, and well-being for its people.
In his message, Li Qiang also expressed appreciation to the President of Turkmenistan for his congratulations. The Premier of the State Council stressed that the Chinese government attaches great importance to the development of China–Turkmenistan relations and stands ready to work with the Turkmen side to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, promoting the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries to a new level.
Li Qiang wished President Serdar Berdimuhamedov good health and well-being, and the people of Turkmenistan happiness and prosperity.
