Music of Peace and Hope to Be Performed in Ashgabat in Honor of the UN's 80th Anniversary
Turkmenistan, a strategic partner of the United Nations, is holding a series of events with its UN partners to celebrate the 80th anniversary of this global organization. The celebrations will culminate on October 28 at the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater. The event aims to highlight the shared values of peace, trust, and sustainable development that underpin Turkmenistan's cooperation with the UN.
The gala evening will begin at 4:00 PM with the opening of the photo exhibition "UN Historic Moments," which will illustrate key milestones in the development and work of the Organization over eight decades. The concert "Music of Peace and Hope" will begin at 4:30 PM. The State Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Rasul Klychev, will perform works celebrating humanistic ideals.
