Türkiye to Allocate $1.77 Billion for Export and Trade Initiatives in 2026
In 2026, Türkiye plans to allocate approximately $1.77 billion (58.4 billion Turkish lira) for the implementation of the “Regulation, Development, and Facilitation of Trade” program, aimed at supporting exports and promoting foreign economic activity, Anadolu Agency reported, citing the draft state budget.
The program focuses on promoting Turkish products in foreign markets, developing service exports, supporting innovation, and encouraging companies to participate in international exhibitions. Special attention is given to enhancing the competitiveness of national brands.
According to the document, the number of companies receiving state support in the service export sector is expected to increase from 34,000 to 36,000. The number of brands participating in the Turquality and branding support programs will reach 135, while 390 brands are expected to receive assistance for goods exports.
One of the priorities will be to stimulate exports of medium- and high-tech products. The share of such products in total industrial exports is projected to rise to 44.5% in 2026.
Support is also planned for 320 enterprises under the Green Deal adaptation project, aimed at promoting environmentally friendly production and improving energy efficiency.
Authorities forecast that the share of e-commerce in foreign trade turnover will grow from 2% in 2025 to 5.5% in 2026. The total e-commerce volume is estimated at around $257 billion (8.5 trillion lira), accounting for 22% of domestic turnover.
Additionally, under the KOOP-DES program, the state will support 60 cooperatives, including women’s cooperatives, increasing their total number to 1,350.
