The company announced the release of a new modification of the RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell, designed for the professional segment. The new version features an impressive 72 GB of GDDR7 memory, which is 50% more than the standard model (48 GB).

The increased memory capacity is the only significant change. The accelerator is still based on the GB202 GPU with 14,080 CUDA cores and a 384-bit memory bus.

Interestingly and advantageously for the professional sector, the 72 GB version retains the same power consumption and memory bandwidth as its 48 GB predecessor. The increase in VRAM directly enhances professionals’ ability to handle larger data models, complex 3D scenes, and large-scale artificial intelligence workloads.

The Nvidia RTX PRO 5000 72GB Blackwell is expected to be priced higher than the standard version, although the exact cost has not yet been announced.
