The President of Turkmenistan Received Chairman of ENOC and Dragon Oil, Saeed Al Tayer
On October 22, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Chairman of the Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) and Dragon Oil, Saeed Al Tayer, and Acting Chairman of Dragon Oil, Abdulkareem Al Maazmi.
The meeting took place in the context of the dynamic development of strategic relations between Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates, which are built on the principles of mutual trust both bilaterally and internationally.
The guests confirmed that Dragon Oil, one of the largest investors in the Turkmen fuel and energy sector, is honored to work in a country with an exceptionally favorable investment climate. The leadership of the Arab company praised the state policy aimed at diversifying the fuel and energy sector, as well as Turkmenistan's growing international standing as an energy power.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the strategic development vector of Turkmenistan's oil and gas sector is focused on deepening the processing of local raw materials and producing highly profitable, export-oriented products. In this regard, the accumulated positive experience of long-term cooperation with Dragon Oil was particularly noted.
Emphasizing that Turkmenistan is actively implementing fundamental economic reforms, the head of state confirmed the country's readiness to consider specific proposals from ENOC and Dragon Oil to expand and enhance their partnership.
This confirms the intention of Turkmenistan and the UAE companies to go beyond current projects and explore new avenues for fruitful cooperation.
