Theater Week to Celebrate the Anniversary of Neutrality Will Delight Audiences with Premieres and Classics
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality, theaters across the country will host the Week "Permanent Neutrality – the Foundation of Friendship and Brotherhood." Deputy Prime Minister Bahar Seyidova announced preparations for this large-scale cultural event at a government meeting on October 17.
Theater Week will be a true gift for audiences, with an extensive program being prepared, including premieres of plays specifically timed to the anniversary.
Along with new productions, the Week's program will also include repertoire performances based on works by foreign classics.
The Week's celebration in the country's theaters highlights how the principles of permanent neutrality—friendship, brotherhood, and dialogue—are vibrantly embodied in the cultural space and performing arts of Turkmenistan.
