Mashhad: Turkmenistan's Consul General and the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Agreed on Areas of Cooperation
A meeting between Guvanchmyrat Atayev, Consul General of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran (Mashhad), and Ahmet Masoumifar, Head of the Mission, took place at the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Mission in Mashhad.
During the meeting, Atayev presented a copy of the Consular Patent to Masoumifar.
The parties noted the continued development of mutually beneficial cooperation and the rapid growth of relations, which are the result of the efforts of the two countries' Presidents, Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Masoud Pezeshkian.
The meeting discussed key areas of bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Iran, including trade, economic, transport, and logistics cooperation, as well as opportunities for developing contacts in the scientific, educational, and medical fields.
The meeting in Mashhad reaffirmed both countries' interest in implementing joint projects and strengthening regional ties.
