Turkmen students in Minsk took part in the festival "Navruz"

The festive festival "Navruz" was held in the Belarusian State University. Its participants were about 300 students of higher schools in Minsk from eight countries: Belarus, Azerbaijan, Iran, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan. Employees of embassies and management of BSU also became visitors of the celebration. The festive program was opened by the exhibition of national cultures where all interested person had been offered traditional entertainments. The concert in which students of BSU, the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank, Minsk State Linguistic University, Belarusian State Academy of Aviation and Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics acted, became the main event of the action. Visitors were presented to traditional Uzbek, Turkmen dances, and Caucasian lezghinka. The festival "Navruz" in BSU has been organised since 2015. In 2017 it was awarded the diploma of the first degree of competition of interuniversity innovative projects and information-methodical modules “Students’ world: creative commonwealth” which was held within the limits of republican festival of creativity of foreign students of establishments of higher education - Fest-ART.by.
