Turkmenistan Approves Financial Market Development Strategy to 2030


At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on Wednesday, October 8, Deputy Prime Minister Hojamyrat Geldimyradov presented the draft "Financial Market Development Strategy to 2030" to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The strategy sets goals and objectives aimed at the comprehensive modernization of Turkmenistan's financial sector. It provides for:
Modernization of the institutional structure and legislative framework of the financial market, taking into account international standards and best practices;
Adoption of measures for the effective management of financial resources and increased investment;
Improvement of the national insurance market;
Expanding economic ties based on market relations.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the corresponding resolution and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure the efficient circulation of funds in the country.
