The First CELI Italian Language Certification Center to Open in Ashgabat
On October 19, Ashgabat will host the official opening of the first and only CELI Italian language certification center in Turkmenistan. The opening is organized by the company Iş Nokady with the support of the Embassy of Italy in Turkmenistan.
The center will provide residents of the country with the opportunity to take the international CELI exam (Certificato di Lingua Italiana), which certifies proficiency in Italian from beginner to advanced levels. This certificate, recognized in Italy and other European countries, opens up broad opportunities for studying, employment, and academic mobility.
Representatives of the Embassy of Italy in Ashgabat, as well as the Rector of the University for Foreigners of Perugia — the institute responsible for administering CELI exams worldwide — will participate in the opening ceremony. The program will include official speeches, discussions, meetings, experience-sharing sessions, and a cultural segment designed to create an Italian atmosphere.
The event will take place at the Arkach Business Center (2nd floor, Iş Nokady coworking center). It starts at 16:00, and admission is free.
