Chatbot in Eight Minutes: OpenAI Unveils AgentKit AI Builder
OpenAI has announced a new tool called AgentKit, which allows users to create intelligent agents without any programming. The presentation took place during the DevDay conference.
AgentKit provides users with a visual builder that enables them to set up an agent’s workflow step by step — from interacting with users and accessing online sources to working with databases and generating responses in a specified format.
A key feature of the new tool is its simplicity and development speed. During the DevDay demonstration, OpenAI representatives built a fully functional website chatbot in just eight minutes. In addition, AgentKit includes enhanced security controls to monitor and manage AI behavior.
The platform is designed for a wide range of applications — from creating customer support chatbots for small businesses to developing internal assistants for companies that analyze real-time data.
Early access to AgentKit has already been granted to DevDay participants. The timeline for public release of OpenAI’s new product has not yet been announced.
