Ashgabat, October 3 | ORIENT. The performance results of Turkmenistan's industrial, transport and communications, agricultural, and trade sectors for the first nine months of this year, announced in the reports of deputy prime ministers at a government meeting, demonstrate the high diversification of the national economy and confirm the sustainable development of strategically important sectors.

The agro-industrial complex demonstrated an overall production growth rate of 112.9%. It also recorded the most impressive financial breakthrough: the investment plan was fulfilled by 259.7%. This level of funding demonstrates the large-scale modernization of the agro-industrial complex.

Among the sectoral indicators, the State Water Management Committee stands out, with a growth rate of 136.4%, underscoring the absolute priority of effective water resource management for the country.

The transport and communications sector also demonstrated strong growth, with an overall growth rate of 114%.

The Ministry of Communications led the growth in this sector, achieving a growth rate of 120.1%, reflecting the active digitalization and development of telecommunications, a technological vector in the country's development.

Air transport (Türkmenhowaýollary) also demonstrated robust growth, reaching 114.9%.

In the industrial and construction sector, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture and the Ministry of Energy demonstrated strong results, confirming the stability of domestic demand and capacity.

The trade and textile industry sector also recorded achievements, signaling a strengthening of its export position:

The Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations increased trade turnover by 118.4%.

The Ministry of Textile Industry reported a 120.7% increase in cotton fabric production and a 119.6% increase in leather production.

Food production by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs reached 107.2%.

The active work of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (over 21,000 contracts) underscores the strong demand for Turkmen products in foreign markets.
