New Ambassadors of Turkmenistan to Saudi Arabia and the UAE Appointed
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed decrees on personnel changes in the diplomatic corps, affecting the country's missions in the Arab region.
Appointments to the Gulf States
Muhammetgeldi Ayazov has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Riyadh).
Bayram Bayramov has been awarded the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi).
Diplomat Rotation
Due to their transfers to other positions, the following have been relieved of their posts:
Orazmuhammet Charyev, who held the post of Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and concurrently to the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Palestine, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Sultanate of Oman, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Serdarmammet Garajayev has been relieved of his posts as Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates and concurrently to the Republic of Iraq and the State of Kuwait.
Mukhammetgeldi Ayazov, appointed Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has been relieved of his posts as Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia and concurrently to the Republic of Lebanon.
